Missions at St. Mark's
St. Mark’s has mission projects in our community, across the border, and across the world! There are multiple ways to get involved in with spreading the love of Christ through St. Mark’s!

HUNGARY MISSIONS Hungary Missions is a partnership between St. Mark’s and the United Methodist Church in Hungary, specifically the congregations of Obuda, Dombovar, and Kisvaszar. The Hungary Mission Team travels to Hungary for two weeks every summer to work with the Hungarian Methodist Church, running an English Camp for youth in Budapest and doing ministry in the Roma village of Kisvaszar. The team will be traveling to Hungary in 2018 from June 14 through July 2. Hungary Missions will be fundraising for the 2018 trip by sponsoring a Fall Bazaar and Pumpkin Patch on October 6th and 7th! We hope you can join us!

MEXICO MISSIONS The Mexico Missions ministers to Juarez and the surrounding area by providing physical and spiritual help to those in need. St. Mark’s Mexico Missions partners with the “Casa De Vida y Paz” children’s home in Juarez, supporting the home financially and with their continual presence. The team takes monthly trips to Mexico to spend time with the children and continue to improve the home. This fall the team will be taking trips on Saturdays September 16, October 21, and November 11. This fall the Mexico Missions team will be holding an Enchilada Dinner Fundraiser on Wednesday, September 20 from 5:00 to 7:30pm. You can dine in or take out! A dinner costs $9 for an adult and $6 for a child!

CHRISTMAS BASKETS
Every December, St. Mark’s gives over 150 baskets filled with much needed supplies for the winter months to families around the borderland. The Christmas Baskets project depends on donations from the church community! If you would like to donate please contact the church office. We are also in need of volunteers to put together and distribute the bask!ets! Christmas Baskets will be assembled on Saturday, December 16.
